College Football Week 2 Picks, Odds, Best Bets, and Analysis
College Football Week 2 is upon us, and we are back with all our picks against the spread, on the money line, and on the totals. This week, we have a lot of FCS vs FBS matchups to navigate, with a handful of conference games in between.
In week 1, Jay had quite the day, going 13-3. But make sure to follow us on Twitter to get all our picks, because only six (3-3) of those picks were released on last week’s episode. Meanwhile, Q did not fare as well, going 5-6 on the weekend. Overall, we went 8-9 on posted picks for week 1
College Football Week 2 Picks

Jay’s Week 2 Pick
#1 Alabama -20 vs Texas
Alabama comes into Austin, TX with a chip on their shoulder. We all saw Georgia beat the brakes off Oregon last week. Everyone is out there saying “we underestimated Georgia, they might still be the best team in the country.” Alabama hears it. And while they did destroy Utah State last week, that does not carry the same weight as destroying a quality Power 5 school. In this game, expect Alabama to be out for blood. They are sick of hearing about Georgia
Quinten’s Week 2 Pick
#20 Kentucky ML vs #12 Florida
The University of Florida is holding their heads high after an upset victory over #13 ranked Utah in week 1. While the victory was meaningful, expectations have gotten a little out of hand for the Gators. This week, they went from being unranked to ranking #12 in the AP Poll. Coming off that emotional upset, Florida faces off with the #20 ranked Kentucky Wildcats. While this is another Gators home game at the swamp, I do not like the Gators chances of beating a ranked opponent for the second week in a row. I expect this to be another tight and bruising game for both teams with Kentucky and their nasty defense coming out on top. So, I am taking Kentucky on the money line at +195.
